This is a Trumpeter 1/32 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) AV-8B Harrier II, a Vertical and/or Short Take-Off and Landing (V/STOL) ground attack aircraft operated by the United States Marine Corps and several other nations. Model kit features: Fine recessed panel lines and rivets, well detailed cockpit, radar package, full vectored-thrust turbofan engine, landing gear with vinyl tires, optional position intake bypass shutters, separate control surfaces (rudder, ailerons and slatted flaps), multi-part canopy, optional position speed brake and photo-etch parts (seatbelts, HUD frame, aft cockpit decking and rearview mirrors). Also includes external stores (drop tanks, gun pods, TERs, MERs, AN/AAQ-25s, AGM-65s, AIM-9Ls, AIM-120s, BSU-49s, GBU-12s, MK 117s, MK 82 Snakeyes and MK 82 500 lb).
